There is much planning
and decision making, when it comes to paying for your education - but
there is no wiser choice, then investing in your future! Below are the
many options available to you. Call a Education Counselor today and they
will assist you in creating the perfect plan for you.
CASH:
(No Interest, No Fees, No Payments, No worries)
MKC
FED-M (An MKC FAFSA/Federal Student Aid Program)
Student/Private
Loans :
(3 loans to choose from. Covers up to 100% of tuition plus expenses)
Scholarships:(Up to 100% of Tuition, no repayment necessary, can be used
for tuition, equipment and/or expenses)
Paying your tuition with cash has it's obvious advantages, you can start
your education anytime your choose, no interest charges and no long term
commitments.
Saving Money
- One way that many students pay for their education is good old
fashion saving. Whether you put away a little money each week into an
interest account, hide it under your mattress, the important thing to
remember is be consistent. If you are ambitious you can save for an
entire program or you can save for one course at a time. Just do it!
Dreams don't just happen! (Drawback - This can take a while depending
on your income.)
Family and Friends
- None of us like to ask for money, but don't forget the gift of
giving. Many people in your life would love to be a part of your dream.
Perhaps you even have a close friend or relative that has shared the
same dream and would like to share in the manifestation of your dream.
This avenue of finance will save you money, while allowing others to
share in your happiness. ( Drawback - Emotions - Commit yourself to
paying it back as soon as possible.)
FED-M
PROGRAM:
FED-M is an MKC Student
Aid Program where students have the power to make their own choice on
which school they attend and not be limited by which schools offer FAFSA.

for a FAFSA SCHOOL CODE and an overview of the FED-M application process
No Application
Fee:
Unlike many schools that can charge hundreds of dollars to apply for
FAFSA, the MKC FED-M Program does not require any application fee.
Low or No Interest
- Unlike traditional FAFSA Student Aid, MKC's FED-M Program offers
qualified students the opportunity to take advantage of everything FAFSA
has to offer while also offering student loans for as little as "NO
INTEREST" (as opposed to as high as 8.5% with a typical Federal
loan)
Grants:
If qualified, the MKC FED-M Program offers student grants comparable
to those offered by typical Federal Student Aid.
No Wage Garnishments
- Federal law authorizes the Department of Education or the student
loan guarantor that holds a defaulted loan to collect the debt by non–judicial
wage garnishment – a withholding order issued by the Department
or the guarantor without the need for entry of a court judgment against
the debtor. With an MKC FED-M Loan there is never a concern that someday
you will be held hostage by a government loan. You will always work
directly with MKC or an MKC affliate company.
Unreasonable
Payment Requirement
- When a Federal (FAFSA) student loan goes into default, or a grant
overpayment is identified, the party to whom that debt is owed can demand
that the debt be paid in full immediately, and the Department, school,
or guaranty agency that holds the debt you owe has the legal right to
demand that repayment in full immediately, and to take enforcement action
to collect the full amount if not paid in full. With an MKC FED-M Loan
you will deal directly with your school and their affiliates to help
you through difficult times where making your monthly payments becomes
difficult.

Student/Private
Loans : When all else fails, student loans and personal lines
of credit may be your only option. Qualifying will be based on your personal
credit scores and ability to repay and that of your co borrower. Your
interest rates will also depend on you and your co borrower's credit status.
Although you may end up paying a higher interest rate, attending school
is your main focus and there isn't anything more important to your future
then your education. Below are a few of the options available:
Private
Lending Companies - Next to family and friends this is probably
the fastest route available to locate funding for your education.
As with any other type of secured or unsecured loan your rates
will depend on your credit rating or the rating of the friend
or family member assisting you. If you are willing to take out
a loan for a car, why not your future? The investment is as good
as your commitment to succeed. Fill out the Financial Aid
Form Below for more information or Call for more information:

Credit Unions
are a great source of financial aid! If you are not currently
a member of a credit union, click Here

MKC
Student Loans -
Cash, Home Equity and Private loans are the preferred choices
when financing your education, however when these resources do
not provide everything you need, this is where MKC will support
you to make your dream of an education a reality. With two loans
to choose from, 100% approval and competitive interest rates,
you can not go wrong with an MKC Student Loan
The MKC Student Loans go a step further then the other loans available,
by allowing you to develop credit, while you are paying for your
education. You are essentially paying for your education, while
you are qualifying for it. With a little hard work and patience,
the MKC Student Loans might just be what you are looking for.
Scholarships
-
When possible scholarships should always be considered when paying
for your education. Although they are difficult to obtain, the right
amount of effort for the right scholarship will remove significant
pressure from your education financing. Scholarships come in all shapes
and sizes and you must do the research necessary to find the write
scholarship for you. Below are a list of resources that you can use
to find a scholarship.
